Bubba Brunson began defending Workers' Compensation Claims in 1989.

Bubba regularly appears at single Commissioner hearings, has handled hundreds of Full Commission Appeals, and has appeared before the Circuit Court, the South Carolina Court of Appeals, and the South Carolina Supreme Court.

WORKERS' COMPENSATION MEDIATION
Mediation of Workers' Compensation cases became mandatory in South Carolina in July of 2013. Mediation is a dispute-resolution method that relies on the open exchange of information, ideas and alternatives to help individuals resolve their difficulties outside of formal hearings. It has proven to be an especially cost-efficient tool for resolving disputes in the Workers' Compensation arena.
An informal process, the injured worker and the employer/carrier attempt to resolve the case or the issues between themselves, with the help of a third party neutral, the Mediator. Bubba Brunson became a Certified Civil Mediator in 2008.
Since mediation became mandatory, he has been providing mediation services to Workers' Compensation litigants several days each week, all for an affordable, cost effective Flat Fee.
Over 90% of the cases he has mediated have resolved. Bubba has become the go-to mediator in the Pee Dee District of South Carolina.
